There are as many aspects to consider when selecting natural stone for interiors, as there are for exteriors and the same level of attention is applied to both. Whilst appreciating the differing requirements for interior natural stone, a professional service and a high quality finished product remain paramount.
Interior products have no limits but generally include: fireplaces, flooring, cantilevered straight or spiral stairs, architrave, skirting and bathroom stoneware, all supplied to projects throughout the world.
All designs within the above categories are bespoke and the team will assist with development of a clients original ideas, to complete a design, select a suitable stone, manufacture at the Oxford works and deliver and fix, if required.
Site dimensions can be taken or architects drawings developed for approval using Computer Aided Design where appropriate.

Milwaukee Residence Internal Staircase French limestone used as a thin cladding to existing timber and concrete staircase structure. Stonework to be installed by local Milwaukee stonemasons in accordance with design and shop drawings prepared by APS Masonry. As the staircase was not built in accordance with a geometrical setting-out, site dimensions and details needed to be taken. Working closely with the local architect and contractor, tolerances of 3-5mm were accommodated within the new stone design. Once manufacture was completed the French limestone components were carefully crated up and dispatched to site. |

Staircase, North Oxford Residence This staircase was drafted in 2D for architect’s approval then the steps were modelled in 3D and machined individually on the 5-Axis router. It was made in Portuguese limestone, clean all round and supported by two steel ribbons which sweep around from the ground floor to the first floor landing. The finished steps sat on the steel and were fixed in place using metal cleats so they could support themselves individually.
